Widow Maker Trail is a unique trail along the Kananaskis River featuring scenic river views, and potential new discoveries depending on how well versed you are of the area. As you walk along the trail, you will cross over several small streams and creeks on wooden bridges, pass by many buffalo berry bushes, see an area to go surfing along the Kananaskis River, likely watch many rafters float down the river, as well as see the mini obstacle course for the canoe and kayakers.

Due to the nature of this trail being next to the river, expect muddy conditions especially during years of heavy rainfall and snow melt.

Also be bear aware as there are many buffalo berry bushes along the trail.
