I'm Noah — a Calgary-based hiker, outdoor enthusiast, and firm believer that some of the best trails in the world are right in our backyard.
I've been exploring the Canadian Rockies and surrounding areas for years, and what started as weekend escapes quickly turned into a genuine passion for discovering everything Alberta has to offer. From quick family-friendly walks to longer backcountry adventures, I've covered a lot of ground — and I built this site to share what I've found along the way.
My Story
Growing up in Calgary, the mountains were always on the horizon. I'm currently studying Ecotourism & Outdoor Leadership at Mount Royal University, which has only deepened my appreciation for the outdoor spaces we're lucky enough to call home. Whether I'm planning a backpacking trip, heading out for a day hike, or hitting the trails with my two golden retrievers Skoki and Barkley, there's nowhere I'd rather be than outside.
