White Buddha via Powderface Creek Trail is a short but steep hike in the Kananaskis region. The trail begins along Powderface Creek Trail, which is relatively flat, for the first 1.2 kilometers. Make sure to check the map, but at the 1.2 kilometer mark, take a right and start the ascent to White Buddha. The trail is very steep with a few switchbacks before the final push to the top where it is steep and full of loose gravel. Take your time on the gravel section - poles would definitely help. Check your maps as it is very easy to loose the trail near the top. The views from White Buddha are 100% worth the climb.
