Troll Falls is a very straightforward and family friendly hike in the Kananaskis region. After hiking a couple kilometers through a forest you are greeted with the lower/main Troll Falls waterfall. Once you get some waterfall pictures, you can continue the trail upwards to reach Marmot Falls. Marmot Falls presents you with the rare opportunity to go behind the waterfall for some unique and stunning shots. After the cool experience at Marmot Falls, the trail heads upwards once more until you reach the Upper Troll Falls.

Three waterfalls, one hike.

Make sure to arrive at the trailhead early as the parking lot will fill up, especially on holidays and weekends.

Be sure to bring bear spray as well. We have encountered many bears on the trail - even on busy days.
