Rawson Lake is a bucket list hike. Amazing views when you get to the lake. Its a beautiful lake in front of Mount Sarrail. The hike starts off from the Upper Kananaskis Lake parking lot and begins to follow the trail along the lake. Along the lake you will walk over a bridge next to a pretty cool waterfall before eventually reaching a fork in the trail. Follow the sign and head left up to Rawson Lake.

Pay attention to closures as this trail is frequently closed due to bear activity.

Once you get to the lake you can hike around to the back side and head up to Sarrail Ridge (another stunning hike with views of Upper Kananaskis Lake and Area), however we were unable to complete this portion due to a Grizzly bear with cubs near the ascent to Sarrail Ridge.
