Kananaskis Falls is a very unique trail that follows a creek all the way to the falls. The trail is quite difficult to find and follow, so make sure to download the offline maps, however there is still a good chance you'll get lost a few times. There are many creek crossings, so pick your spots depending on the water level, however expect to have wet shoes, so plan accordingly with tall waterproof boots or a change of footwear. At the waterfall, you have a unique opportunity to walk behind the falls for some very unique views.
Make sure to take a right at the fork in the trail to stay near the creek so you do not accidentally start hiking up to Wasootch Peak.
Parking is very limited as there is no formal parking lot. You will need to safely park off the shoulder of the highway or into the ditch depending on the water level.
