Burstall Lakes is a fantastic trail for the effort. The trail starts off next to Mud Lake where you can get some good initial mountain and lake views. Continuing up the trail, there is one fairly short steeper section before the trail goes back to a gradual incline passing by three unique lakes. Each lake has an access point that you can down to get to the lake - watch for the turnoffs on the right or look for it on a downloaded trail map. The trail ends at a large meadow with a few shallow creeks comprised of glacier runoff. You essentially are surrounded by mountains and have stunning 360 degree views.
If you are looking for a bigger challenge, you can continue to follow the trail beyond this endpoint to follow Burstall Pass.
