Jarvis Bay Lakeshore Trail

0.6 km
8 m elevation
★★★★☆ rating
Easy Difficulty
Pet Friendly

Jarvis Bay Lakeshore Trail is a short trail from the campground to the lake. While there is no AllTrails trail to get to the water, follow the trail near the water next to the cliff at Jarvis Bay Provincial Campground until you get to the bridge in between the individual campsites and the group sites. At the bridge, head down to the creek and follow the creek to get to Sylvan Lake. It is a small rocky beach, but perfect for anyone looking to get in the water somewhere. The 1km trail is a large approximation as it will heavily vary in distance depending on the campsite you are leaving from.

Also check out the town of Sylvan Lake as well as the cool shops on Lakeshore Drive. There are many great restaurants, shops, bars, and more along the road, plus, Sylvan lake has a sand beach to have a beach day at - no dogs unfortunately.
