Grassi Lakes Interpretive Trail heads up to the popular Grassi Lakes along the "more difficult" route. Objectivly, I prefer the "more difficult" route as it provides more scenic views along the way as opposed to the "easy" route. The trail follows the side of the mountain on its ascent, you cross over a few water streams on the trail, and pass by a waterfall before climbing up tall stairs up to the lakes. Grassi Lakes is a very popular trail for its stunning views and simple trail. There are two lakes to explore, they both have the iconic green/turquoise colour to them. Around passed the second lake there is a large section for rock climbers and beyond the lakes you can head upwards to White Mans Pond for another unique body of water.

Make sure to arrive early as this is one of if not the most popular trails in the area.
