This trail begins at North Glenmore Park Parking Lot A and follows the walking path all the way to the Weaslehead Flats Parking Lot and back. The trail is paved the whole way and offers some nice views of the Glenmore Reservoir. While you can walk this path any day, this exact trail to make 5km is used for the Side by Side for ALS, and the Calgary Humane Society Dog Jog. Those two charities to amazing work, and we have a personal connection to both of them. If you have the opportunity, I would highly recommend checking them out. There is little to no shade along the trail, so make sure to be aware of the sun. The park does offer some water refill station, as well as one for dogs, but if its hot I would still recommend bringing extra water for furry friends.

Please do not swim or let dogs swim in the reservoir - this water provides drinking water to lots of Calgarians.
