Big Hill Springs Extended Loop is the combination of the other two hikes in the Big Hill Springs area. The trail begins by the creek and picnic area - which many dogs and kids will splash around in. The trail immediately heads right over the creek and ascends up towards the North Viewpoint trail. The top of this hill provides some nice views of the surrounding areas. The trail then heads down the North Viewpoint hill before you take a right at the intersection to cross the bridge and head to Big Hill Springs Trail. At the next intersection, you can keep going straight to see a brief water viewpoint, or just take a left to head up the hill to continue the hike. The top of this hill has a bench if you wish to sit down and take in the sights..

This is one of three hikes in the area, so I would greatly recommend this area as it is great for family friendly hikes.

The parking lot can fill up quick on weekends and holidays, so it is advised to arrive early.
